A little more about Victoria…

Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Victoria was exposed to music and the vocal styles of Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, and Dinah Washington as a child, due to her Mother, Edith Dorothy Horne, a vocalist whose influence and passion for music had a direct impact on her daughter. Although a native New Yorker Victoria’s career and performances developed throughout Europe and Japan. Learning to sing in French, Italian, German, and Japanese was a necessary and difficult task, and planning to return to the USA was always the main goal. The work overseas kept her busy and eventually, Victoria made her home in France.

Working as a primary and respected entertainer on European luxury cruise liners, allowed Victoria to explore many facets of her music, and travel extensively at the same time. A consummate collector of antiques, paintings, music, and all things beautiful, Victoria has a unique view of the world as a very small place where all people are connected through their cultures.

Victoria is a classy lady, possesses a quiet, and determination, is dedicated to her audience, and provides a high-energy performance. The heading Jazz to Blues and More… refers to Victoria’s many styles of singing. Performances may encompass a sixteen-piece orchestra, with dancers, video backgrounds, set & costume changes or simply a trio of the musician’s in a small romantic setting.

Meticulously deciding and developing each concept tailored to the specific venue of choice, Victoria loves her work. It is clear audiences respond to her warm interaction and personality, as she chooses a dance partner from the audience, getting everyone into feeling the music and having a great time! Her themes are primarily Jazz and Blues, but Victoria is a capable pop, and rock artist as well. As a composer, she plans to release her original multi-genre songs later this year! Her debut CD as an independent artist is called “Free To Fly” available online through CD Baby and Apple iPod. Victoria currently working between New York, and Florida, and of course frequently in Europe.

I’d like to give acknowlegment to Shar LeTang for all her support ,and efforts in helping my career.
